I bought the mini air purifier because I suffer from allergies to dust and mold. I worry about air borne contaminants on airplanes and for piece of mind, I used the purifier on a long plane ride to Sardinia. The first leg of my trip was 8 hours from NYC to Germany and then another hour and a half flight from Germany to Sardinia. I enjoyed the quiet of the machine – it did not attract any attention at all, which was important to me. Also, the amount of air it emitted was just the right amount. I was able to easily adjust the strap so that the purifier sat right under my nose as I slept and I didn’t need to keep moving it. I used it on the way home as well. I did not contract any sickness on my trip or after, which has happened to me before. I believe my immune system didn’t have to work as hard since the purifier produced cleaner air than what the plane produces. All in all, the purifier contributed to a healthier trip for me. I would recommend this product to anyone who has concerns about the quality of the cabin air in airplanes.
